The biggest star in the batch is Rayver Cruz, who turned 18 on July 20. Is it true his love team with Shaina Magdayao has broken up because of John Prats?

“No, we’re now doing two new films, parehong filmfest entries, ‘Katas ng Saudi’ for Director Joey Reyes and ‘Bahay Kubo’ for Director Joel Lamangan,” he says.

“We’re even closer now after we did a show together in the States.

“About John, hindi mo naman mapipigilan kung totoong nanliligaw rin siya. It cannot be avoided kasi ligawin talaga si Shaina. Yung sinasabing nag-date sila, marami sila sa grupo, at magkakasama kami talaga sa Ultimate Dance 4. Maganda talaga si Shaina kaya hindi ko kontrolado kung may iba mang nagkakagusto sa kanya. Basta ako, di na lang ako patatalo.”

How does he feel that John knows Shaina is his ka-love team but is still wooing her? “Siyempre, parang nakakainsulto. But I’m not the type who’ll confront him. Sa akin, respeto na lang.”

Arron Villaflor turned 17 on July 16. This SCQ runner-up became the grand winner of “U Can Dance-Season 1” and is best remembered as Kim Chiu’s suitor in “Sana Maulit Muli.” He now plays Edward in “Pedro Penduko at mga Engkantao” and shooting the Metro filfmest entry “Katas ng Saudi” with Lorna Tolentino. John Lapus is now hosting “Showbiz Central” on GMA-7 but he’s still managed by Star Magic. He celebrated his birthday on July 7 with a party at Metro Bar. He’s now doing the comedy “Four in One” with Rufa Mae Quinto for Viva. Hiyasmin Neri is a member of Star Magic 15.

A morena beauty with expressive eyes, she’s taking up fashion design in UP and is also a print and TV commercial model. She turned 18 on July 18. Jamilla Obispo is a PBB Teens recruit who’s one of FHM sexiest Pinays, landing on the cover of their May issue. She admits she’s an unwed mom and she’s working hard for her son. Seen in “Gokada” every Saturday, she turned 20 on July 24. AJ Dee is the brother of swimmer-actor Enchong Dee. He’s currently in “Rounin” playing the sidekick of Aubrey Miles. In the movies, he was last seen as a cop in “You Got Me” with Sam Milby. He’ll be appearing in the play “Portrait of the Artist as Filipino.” He turns 24 on July 27. Among the child stars celebrating their birthday are Jane Oineza, a “Goin Bulilit” regular who turned 11 on July 22; Mark Sayarot, the young Matt Evans in “Pedro Penduko” and the young Geoff Eigenmann in “Hiram na Mukha,” he turned 10 on July 23 and is in grade 4 at St. James; Kiray Celis, discovered as a young belter in “MTB” and later joined Goin Bulilit, she turns 12 on July 29; and Igiboy Flores, another “Goin Bulilit” regular who impersonates Rosanna Roces, he turns 12 on July 31.
