SHARON IMPRESSED WITH GMA FILMS

AT SEN. Kiko Pangilinan’s thanksgiving party, Sharon Cuneta admitted she has committed to do a movie with GMA FIlms opposite Robin Padilla, to be directed by Joey Reyes, a well-known fast worker.

No wonder she showed up at the Greenbelt premiere night of GMA’s “Ouija” and she’s impressed with the way the company produces its own films. She’s raring to shoot for them but first,

she has to finish her earlier commitment with ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema, directed by Chito Roño and to be partly filmed in London.
It was supposed to start shooting last April but there were so many delays. Now, she’s told they’ll finally start in September. But knowing how Chito works, we’re sure this will not be finished until next year.

How would she feel if she’s not allowed by ABS-CBN to promote it in their station like Judy Ann Santos’ “Ouija”? “It’ll be sad, but I can accept it kundi ako payagang mag-promote. Di sa GMA-7 na lang kami magpo-promote ni Robin. As it is, nanghihinayang din nga ako sa chance that Juday and Jolina were not able to promote ‘Ouija’ in my show on ABS. Pero kahit ganun, hindi nawawala ang communication namin bilang mga artista.”
