Funny Ai Ai true story

A FUNNY thing happened to Ai Ai de las Alas last July 6, the eve of Nikki Valdez and Chris Lina’s wedding, where she was one of the sponsors. Nikki and Chris’ wedding was to take place at 7 p.m. so Ai Ai had her hair and make up done early.

Back in her house, she changed into a gown which she had prepared a few days before. Looking at herself in the mirror, she thought she looked beautiful.

On the way to St. John Bosco Parish in Makati (Ai Ai lives in Ayala Heights, Quezon City), she called up Wenn Deramas who would be her partner.

In a nutshell, here’s how their conversation went.

Ai Ai: "Direk, si Ai Ai ito. Anong oras ka nasa simbahan?"

Direk Wenn: "Six siguro, para mas maaga."

Ai Ai: "Papunta ka na?"

Direk Wenn: "Bakit pupunta na ako doon e, bukas, Saturday (July 7) ang kasal?"

Poor Ai Ai. She felt like crying but in the end, she decided to laugh it off.
