This is the OST of the aired The Legend on GMA Philippines. Go The Distance, sang by Ariel Rivera.
Song: Go the Distance
I have often dreamed
Of a far off place
Where a hero's welcome
Would be waiting for me
Where the crowds will cheer
When they see my face
And a voice keeps saying
This is where I'm meant to be
I'll be there someday
I can go the distance
I will find my way
If I can be strong
I know ev'ry mile
Will be worth my while
When I go the distance
I'll be right where I belong
Down an unknown road
To embrace my fate
Though the road may wander
It will lead me to you
And a thousand years
Would be worth the wait
It may take a lifetime
But somehow I'll see it through
And I won't look back
I can go the distance
And I'll stay on track
No I won't accept defeat
It's an uphill slope
But I won't lose hope
Till I go the distance
And my journey is complete
But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part
For a hero's strength is measured by his heart
Like a shooting star
I can go the distance
I will search the world
I will face its harms
I don't care how far
I can go the distance
TillI find my hero's welcome
Waiting in your arms...
I will search the world
I will face its harms
TillI find my hero's welcome
Waiting in your arms...

What the heck just happened to GMA? I watched The Legend's premiere and it was so fast and magulo. The fight scene was a lot better unedited. Watch it here. I won't be surprised if you have a hard time following the story too. I advise you to read The Legend's Wikipedia article, and articles I've posted here in Juicebee. This one explains the Four gods.

A lot is happening lately regarding our Pinoy TV scene, just in case you don't know yet. ABS-CBN has announced after some GMA insiders told the press that Regine Velasquez will remake Kim Sam Soon that they will remake My Girl too with Kim Chu and Gerald Anderson in the lead.
Meanwhile the Hana Kimis of Japan and Taiwan will probably be shown at the same date by GMA and ABS-CBN, again GMA is the first to show their trailer. Isn't this competition getting crazier? And if that's not enough yet, there will probably be a head on collision between two big Mexican telenovelas Betty La Fea (ABS) and Rosalinda (GMA).

Here is an archived article from Tatak, about Robin Padilla and his family life in Australia as narrated by his mom Eva. In photo is Kylie, a young girl now an action star in her own right portraying the role of Erenea in Joaquin Bordado.
MOMMY EVA VISITS HER SON'S NEW HOUSE IN AUSTRALIA
Home Abroad
For some seven years now, Robin Padilla's family—wife Liezel Sycangco and children Queenie, Kylie, Zhen-Zhen, and Ali—has been based in Queensland , Australia . He went to visit them there in November last year. With him was his mother, Mrs. Eva CariƱo-Padilla.
“Papunta't pauwi, sabay kami ,” says Robin's 69-year-old mother, who's fondly called Mommy Eva in showbiz circles. Naglalaro sila .”
Mommy's Eva's visits lasted three weeks. “ Dumalaw lang talaga ako ,” she smiles. Wala kaming ginawa kundi mamasyal .”
It was also Mommy's Eva's first time to see Robin's newly built house at the Gold Coast, a 15-minute drive from the bungalow the Padillas used to live in.
“Ibinenta nila ‘yong dati ,” Mommy Eva tells YES! “ Tapos, itong bago, ‘pinagawa nila . Siguro, mga dalawang taon din itong ‘pinagawa. Nasa loob ito ng village.”
Mommy Eva adds, beaming: “ Ang ganda-ganda .
You can't blame Robin. For his wife and children, he really wants to give nothing less then than the best.
While in Queensland , Mommy Eva took souvenir shots of her son's new house. Luckily for YES!, she has become agreed to share these photos with us.
As far as she can tell, says Mommy Eva, her son and daughter-in-law have a good thing going: “ Sa nakita ko sa kanilang mag-asawa doon ay okey naman sila . Sweet naman . Alam mo naman ‘yong dalawang ‘yon . Minsan sweet, minsan may tampuhan . The same story. Talagang maaaring matawag si Leizel na he's a good husband. Pero napaka -family-man niya .
Robin's newly built two-story house stands on approximately 800 square meters of land, according to Mommy Eva: “ Ewan ko lang ‘yong sukat ng floor area niya, pero malaki .
“Malapit na iyan sa may swimming pool, says Mommy Eva of this food nook.
The Padillas' backyard swimming pool overlooks this lake. In fact, all the houses in the village have a view of this lake from the back. She doesn't know if the lake is man-made: “ Dati daw, puwede kang mamingwit ng isda doon , pero meron daw nakapasok na shark galing sa Gold Coast. Hindi ko alam kung paano .”
Asked how many rooms there are in Robin's house, Mommy Eva starts counting: “ Apat sa itaas , ‘tapos may family room din sa itaas . Sa ibaba , dining. Then meron pang isang sala na informal, ‘ tapos merong formal sala, may formal dining din . ‘ Tapos, sa likod , may swimming pool.”
Gray stone slabs set against white pebbles create drama in this walkway on one side of the house. From the gate, you can go straight to the backyard using this walkway.
Third child Zhen-Zhen and second child Kylie, in their grade-school uniforms, pose on the platform that serves as the family's view deck for the lake. Mommy Eva admits she has a hard time understanding her grandkids' Australian accent. “ 'Pag nag-uusap, ang bilis-bilis !” she recalls laughing. “ Ako naman : ‘What? Please be clear, I cannot understand. “ Ang ‘today' nila , ‘to die.' … ‘Hey, Lola, why you're so pretty today?' Akala ko, mamamatay ako, kasi to die daw .”
Robin's family in the kitchen for breakfast: (L-R) Leizel's mom Fency Goldberg with the youngest and only boy, Robinhood Fernando or Ali, 4; Rose Elizabeth or Queenie, 13; Mommy Eva; Kylie Nicole or Kylie, 12; and Sherileen Zel or Zhen-Zhen, 11.
Ali, Kylie, and Zhen-Zhen by the lake. Mommy Eva recalls how the kids gave her and Robin a grand welcome last November: “From Sydney , nag-domestic-flight muna kami papuntang Brisbane . From Brisbane , magba -bus ka.
“Sa may Gold Coast ‘ yan ,” says Mommy Eva of this photo.
He looks pilyo in the picture, we comment. “ Naku, parang si Robin noong maliit ,” laughs the lola. “ Para kong nakikita si Robin, ‘ yong kalikutan… Ay, takbo nang takbo. Ang kanyang paborito , Spider-Man.
Kylie is the girl that Mommy Eva describes as parang lalaki : “ 'Yang isang ‘yan , kung ano ginagawa noong tatay, gagayahin .
Sabi ni Diboy, ‘No, no that's too heavy.' Sumagot itong isa [Kylie] ng : ‘No, no, we are not normal girls.'
These two photos of Queenie, whose full name is Rose Elizabeth, was taken by celebrity lensman Jun de Leon late last year, during a brief vacation in Manila with the whole family. Robin's children all want to be a movie stars like their father, but it's the eldest, Queenie, who has already received her daddy's permission to join showbiz. Thus, the test pictorial, Queenie's first solo shoot, in which she came out looking every inch a star.
Robin's permission did not came without a condition. Queenie has to learn to speak Tagalog first. And that's what she's doing right now, back in Australia .
Queenie is also taking lessons in voice and the martial arts. And, take note, this lovely teen is also into directing. ‘ Tapos, bini -video niya .”
At press time, Robin (here with Leizel and Ali) was probably back in Australia . He went to the U.S. for the Las Vegas match between Manny Pacquiao and Mexico 's Erik Morales, then stayed on for a brief vacation. While still in the Philippines , Robin started to make a good his promise to his Muslim brothers-to convert his mansion in Fairview into a mosque and a school dormitory for young Muslim children who have been given scholarships by Robin. Construction was underway at pres time.
Robin will continue to occupy the mansion's third floor.
It's Mommy Eva, who used to live in that house, who will be displaced. Laughing, she describes herself as NPA: “No permanent address ako.” She stays at various times with her other children: “ Minsan na kay Rommel ako . Madalas., dito kay Rhoda.”
Mommy Eva says she's aware of Robin's dream of becoming an imam, a Muslim priest. She's fine with that. She herself has never stood in the way of her son's sincere desire to help the Muslim community. What she's not comfortable with is when Robin is called upon to serve as a bridge between the government and Muslim rebel groups.

Robin as a dad
One facet of Robin’s life that many are not privy to is his being a father – quite a proud one, at that. He says he’s giving all-out support to his two daughters Kylie and Queenie in their decision to enter show business. “Kaya lang, ayoko noong mga ligaw-ligawan!” he shares. “Hindi ako full-support doon! Kasi Muslim
kami, e. Iba ang kultura. At dapat nilang panghawakan yun.
His 14-year old daughter Kylie is his co-star in Joaquin, where she plays the warrior girl Erenea. “Naku, yun ang abangan ng ating kabataan,” says Robin, adding that his daughter is not a “fake.”
Robin reveals that Kylie doesn’t want to use their last name, Padilla. “Yun yung kabilin-bilinan niya – ‘Please, walang Padilla!’ Ang sinasabi niya, hindi pa daw niya nae-earn yung right.”
His eldest daughter Queenie is 16 years old and is an actress in another Network.
If there’s an offer for him to do an action movie with his kids, will he take it?
He says of his daughters, “Pag may leading man dapat handa! Biglang manghahamon! Yung mga pinsan nilang lalaki, pag masyadong maporma, [nagyayaya ng] ‘Just one round!’ Pag medyo presko yung leading man baka umuwi nang [bugbugan]!”
