Pinoy TV Ratings: September 7-9, 2007

Pati Ba Pintig Ng Puso by GMA-7 ends with a bang, gaining 21.3 percent ratings.

The final episode of GMA-7's Sine Novela, Pati Ba Pintig Ng Puso, topped the daytime shows last Friday, September 7, based on the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households.

The afternoon soap starring Yasmien Kurdi and JC de Vera pulled in 21.3 percent rating, the same rating received byTaiwanese import Meteor Garden.

The second spot was shared by ABS-CBN's Pilipinas, Game KNB and GMA-7's noontime show Eat Bulaga. The two shows got an identical 20 percent rating.

Primetime viewing was once again dominated by Impostora, which is now officially the number one primetime show of the week. The said soap starring Sunshine Dizon and Iza Calzado registered 34 percent rating.

Four other GMA shows landed in the Top 5: Marimar (32.9 percent), Mga Mata Ni Anghelita (31.7 percent), 24 Oras (30.3 percent), and Jumong (29.5 percent). The remaining slots in the Top 10 were occupied by ABS-CBN shows with Kokey, 27.2 percent, leading the pack.

Saturday (September 8) viewing is pretty much the same as last week, except for the noticeable drop in Wowowee's ratings. The ABS-CBN noontime show hosted by controversial Willie Revillame landed No. 4 overall with 17.3 percent rating, while its rival, GMA-7's Eat Bulaga! remained in the number one position with 22.8 percent.

The battle of the Saturday showbiz talk shows was once again won by Startalk, which got 17.5 percent rating compared to the 10.1 percent rating of Entertainment Live.

Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho ruled primetime viewing with 29.4 percent rating, closely followed by Bitoy's Funniest Videos with 29.2 percent. The other shows in the Top 5 are Imbestigador, 24.3 percent; Celebrity Duets, 22.8 percent; and 1 vs. 100, 22 percent.

Showbiz Central's exclusive interview with Camille Prats, where the young actress admitted that she is indeed pregnant, was probably the reason why it once again beat its competitor last Sunday, September 9. The GMA-7 showbiz talk show got 16.9 percent rating while ABS-CBN's The Buzz—which featured exclusive interviews with KC Concepcion, Angel Locsin, and Annabelle Rama—pulled in a 14.3 percent rating.

The battle of the Sunday musical variety shows was won by GMA-7's SOP which posted a 15.5 percent rating. ABS-CBN's ASAP '07 was not far behind with 14.3 percent.
