MARIAN RIVERA: Iba si Angel, iba ako

Marimar is proving to be the most-watched evening series on Pinoy TV these days, pero ayaw ni Marian Rivera na sinasabihang: “ikaw na ang pumalit sa puwestong iniwan ni Angel Locsin.”

“Sana, wala na lang ganun na may mga pinalitan,” she says. “Iba si Angel at iba rin ako. Basta I justgive my best in every scene that I do in our show. I feel I cannot do less kasi sayang naman ang pagtitiwala ng GMA sa akin at alam ko malaki expectation nila sa akin.”

Totoo ba na si Karylle, ang girlfriend ni Dingdong ay "banned" sa set ng Marimar?

“No. Nahihiya nga ako kay Karylle at nasasangkot siya pati sa writeups about the show.
“Siya mismong nagsabi na she cannot visit the set dahil malayo. We shoot either in Zambales or in Batangas.”

Doing Marimar boosts her self-confidence she says, and people notice that she used to be bashful but now she's more friendly and more open to the press.
