Lolit defends Joey

LOLIT Solis is on the warpath against MTRCB chair Consoliza Laguardia because Joey de Leon took a leave from hosting “Startalk” after Laguardia sent them a letter of warning.

Laguardia was trying to mediate between Joey and Willie Revillame, but Joey didn’t accept Willie’s apology as his conditions were not followed. He didn’t talk about it anymore but wore shirts in “Eat Bulaga” that alluded to the perceived cheating that happened in “Wowowee.”

Lolit feels that what Laguardia is doing curtails Joey’s freedom of expression and it seems that Laguardia is even defending and protecting Willie now, when it was him who started the brouhaha. Will Joey be back in “Startalk” this Saturday?

That remains to be seen since Joey himself has made a statement to Laguardia: “Explain before I comply.” He wants her to explain what she is prohibiting him to say or do on TV. If she could explain clearly and convincingly, then he’d be willing to comply. From the looks of it, Laguardia has totally accepted that no cheating was done and she’s now more concerned about what Joey has to say or do against Willie. With what she’s doing, we think she’s only adding more fuel into the fire.

As Lolit herself says: “Halatang mayroon siyang kinakampihan at pinapaboran. Nagtataka ang mga empleyado ng MTRCB dahil inuuna pa niya ang pakikialam sa word war nina Willie at Joey gayong mas maraming ibang problema sa office nilang dapat lutasin.”
