Sarah a good example

SARAH Geronimo is a good example of a young girl who worked hard to attain her goal. What she’s reaping now is no secret. She has the talent, beauty and good relationship with co-workers.

She’s also thankful for having a supportive family. Her father and mother are always there to guide her.

Her humble beginnings is no secret, either. She comes from a poor family but

gifted with a good singing voice. At age six, she joined “Pen-Pen de Sarapen.” In 1995, she was among those who sang before Pope John Paul II during His Eminence’s visit to the country. During the same year, she joined the Princess of Asia contest on “Sanlinggo nAPO Sila.”

But it was only in the singing contest “Search for a Star” where her name started to shine. The Celine Dion song, “To Love You More” paved the way for her to bring home the P1-M and managerial contract with Viva Artists as grand prizes. It was followed by recording an album that turned out platinum and a supporting role in “Captain Barbell.” Her first TV series with ABS- CBN, “Sarah The Princess” was a success, followed by good exposures as guests in other big shows in the network.

In September, Sarah starts “Pangarap na Bituin,” with heartthrob Jericho Rosales and Maja Salvador. Being paired with Jericho is a dream come true for her, as she considers him one of her idols.

So what’s next? Only God knows what’s best for a good girl like Sarah.
