Toni Gonzaga says, she is really falling in love with director Paul Soriano
This time, Toni Gonzaga says, she is really falling in love with director Paul Soriano. We won’t be surprised if the next time we meet her, she and Direk Paul are already sweethearts.
How come they are not yet on? we asked her.
"We both think we just have to know each other very well," Toni says.
But they now often go out on dates. Usually they go to the mall. Their favorite is either Shangri-la Plaza or Rockwell.
Toni says her parents have met Direk Paul, but she has yet to see his mom and dad.
Both Direk Paul and Toni are Born-Again Christians.
Direk Paul’s dad, director Jeric Soriano, is a pastor who also directs TV commercials like his son. He has directed one movie, Viva Films’ "Hot Shots," starring Aga Muhlach and Gary Valenciano.
Direk Jeric’s dad is the late matinee idol Nestor de Villa.
Direk Paul is good-looking also like his father and Lolo Nestor. He could give current popular actors his age (he’s 25) a run for their money.

Direk Paul directed the video of the carrier single in Toni’s second album for Star Records, "Falling in Love." Although they’ve known each other before they worked on the video, it was during its shoot that they became closer.
Toni does not hide the fact that she considers Direk Paul as one of the most important men in her life. She, likewise, admits that he makes her happy.
In the album, by the way, is the single, "Perfect World," which is the theme song of the computer game, Perfect World by Level Up, the makers of the popular online gaming, Ragnarok.
And guess what! One of the characters in Perfect World was patterned after Toni.
