Megan moves on

MEGAN Young formally joins ABS-CBN in this Saturday’s episode of “Abt Ur Luv (Ur Lyf 2)”. She is introduced as Honey, the newest member of the values-oriented youth show, playing the cheerful new student who claims to be the best friend of Brenda (Carla Humphries) from way back.

“I felt so glad when I was told I’d join the show as my younger sister, Lauren, is there,” she says. “I’ve been watching the show because of her at parang ang saya-saya nilang magkakasama roon so natutuwa talaga akong mapasama rin sa show. At first, I thought, maiilang ako kasi nauna na silang mag-bonding together in the show, but they’re all very warm and everyone made me feel I’m welcome sa show at maging sa Kapamilya network mismo kahit I was with GMA-7 before.”

Megan was part of Starstruck 2 but she chose not to renew her contract after it expired last year. “I’ll forever be indebted to GMA for giving me the break, but I haven’t had any assignment for sometime so I felt it’s time to move on. Sa ABS, natutuwa ako as they really made me feel important. Ms. Rikka Dylim of Star Magic even had a special presscon just for me, something that never happened to me before.”
