Join United Nation's Walk the World campaign to end child hunger

Take to the streets and “Walk the World.” Walk the World is a worldwide demonstration where people from all over the globe walk through a 24-hour period in each of the planet’s time zones. The walk aims to end child hunger by delivering a powerful message—“Child hunger has no place in this world”—and collectively, even ordinary citizens can put an end to it.

The walk, slated for July 29, 4 p.m. at the Mall of Asia (MOA), will bring together people from various sectors—from celebrities to common individuals, from pastors to politicians—to raise awareness on the plight of hungry children and raise funds for the United Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP). The walk coincides with the celebration of Nutrition Awareness Month this July. Walk the World will also be followed by a free concert at the MOA Music Hall.
