Beatriz Saw Vows To Help Fellow Bicolanos

During the presscon for the Pinoy Big Brother Season Two Big Four last July 4, Beatriz Saw the grand winner gave word that she'll help her fellow Bicolanos who were recently struck with tragedy because of a storm. She plans to do it discreetly, and wants to avoid publicity as much as possible.

"Unang-una po, hindi ko pa nabibigay. Pero meron po akong plano. Kaya lang, discreetly ko kasi na gagawin. As much as possible, huwag na sanang masyadong i-publicize.

"I'm going home siguro, ewan ko kung malalaman nila or ano. Pero ‘yon nga, I'm going to do it discreetly, like hindi lang 'yung mga taong nasalanta. Meron akong mga indigenous people [na tinutulungan] nung college pa ako. So, I'm planning to go back to visit them. Sila 'yung binigyan ko ng rice nung nabagyo kami.

"Of course, lahat ng nakuha ko, kasabay ko silang [Bicolanos] aangat. Iyon nga 'yung, what's good about being a Bicolano is parang we have this being resilient. Iyong after the storm, tatayo ulit, ire-rebuild 'yung house. After naming mabagyo, bahain kami, lilinisin ang bahay, balik ulit sa dati.

"Hindi ko sila makakalimutan, lalo na 'yung mga taga-Baaw. Mahal na mahal ko ‘yon. Doon ako lumaki. It's a small town na malapit sa city," Bea said.

Bea became popular to the viewers because of her unique and funny laugh. She also wowed the viewing public with her popular rebuffs to the attack of her fellow house-mate Maricris, such as:

"Ang respeto, hindi ‘yan ini-impose, Maricris, ini-earn ‘yan!"

"Don't push your luck, Maricris!" and "Act your age!"
