His wife, actress Lorna Tolentino, sent this text message: "To our dearest friends, we just want to let you know that all of Rudy’s nodules (tumors) are GONE. Based on today’s (Tuesday, July 10), ultrasound tests, he will still need continuous chemo sessions until Sept. 2007 for his, hopefully, complete recovery. Please continue to pray for his complete recovery. Thanks so much for your prayers."
