ANGELS’ L.A. PREEM CANCELLED

ANGEL Locsin finally left for the U.S. to attend the premiere nights of her initial movie venture as producer, “Angels” opposite rumored boyfriend Marvin Agustin.

According to a source, the movie had a fairly successful premiere night in San Diego last Sunday (Saturday in the US), and has another one scheduled in San Francisco on Saturday. Unfortunately, the scheduled premiere night in Los Angeles had been called off. A little birdie from Pasadena told us that it had not been promoted well, and tickets were slow, thus, Becky Aguila and company decided to cancel it. The group, however, will still go to LA for pleasure. Heard that they’re now in Las Vegas for the much-needed R&R before going to San Francisco.

Meanwhile, Angel will proceed to London to pursue her fashion design studies. She wants to learn how to design gym attires that are fashionable at the same time.

Before she left, she visited the set of “Lupin,” but Richard Gutierrez would not want to get the credit for her visit. “Kami lahat ang binisita niya,” Richard clarifies. “Close din siya sa direktor naming si Mike Tuviera, and the rest of the cast. It was just a small talk. Nagpaalam lang talaga sa aming lahat.”

Angel also dropped by Mother Ricky Reyes’ place where GMA EVP for Entertainment, Wilma Galvante was being feted. Wilma wished her nothing but the best but shared her concern over her decision to leave the country for a while.

We all know that fans quickly change. Absence makes the heart go fonder, an old saying goes. But as it is, it doesn’t hold water in local showbusiness.
