Rumors of Philippine Idol on GMA-7 gets stronger

According to Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), there is truth to the reports of Philippine Idol transferring from ABC-5 to GMA-7 with their second season.

Based from PEP's source who'sconnected with GMA-7, there is an on-going negotiation between the two camps. This week, we'll have news if Philippine Idol will transfer to the Kapuso network or if it will stay with ABS-5.

If Philippine Idol really becomes a GMA-7 show, the local show Pinoy Pop Superstar will be stopped for a while.

There is also a huge possibility that Regine Velasquez will host the Philippine Idol.
