Studio 23 will air hit foreign shows at a more current date

Studio 23 managing director Leo Katigbak announced that the Kabarkada viewing will be more up to date because the shows will only be a week or two behind the US airings.

Studio 23 is the sole free Philippine TV channel that has the
popular American shows such as "Smallville", "Desperate Housewives", and "Grey's Anatomy".

"We will be current with the seasons being played in the USA," he said. "Viewers no longer have to wait for the usual 4-12 months to catch the latest developments in their favorite shows or even download them off the Internet."

Aside from this development, Katigbak said the station will be airing new seasons of hit shows like "Ghost Whisperer," "Lost," "Two and a Half Men," and the number 2 US comedy, "Rules of Engagement" while the longest-running family drama in television, "7th Heaven," bids farewell with its 11th season.
