Pia defends Vic

Pia Guanio defended her boyfriend Vic Sotto on nationwide TV last Sunday as she also refuted the rumor that Vic is now seeing another woman. It was rumored last week that Vic was seen having dinner with a pretty lady in a posh restaurant at Serendra, promoting tongues to start wagging that Pia and the comedianTV host are no longer together.

In GMA 7’s "Showbiz Central," Pia flatly denied that they broke up. She also insisted it is not possible for Vic to date another woman at that particular time because she was with him on that day. She said Vic picked her up after she wrapped up her anchoring chores on GMA 7’s early evening newscast, "24 Oras," and they had dinner together.

Pia admits it also hurts her when she hears talk about Vic being pictured as a womanizer. While there may have been several women who have been romantically associated with Vic, most of whom were his co-hosts in "Eat Bulaga," Pia countered Vic’s character is contrary to the writeups that have been coming out about it.

Yes, they do have misunderstanding and petty fights, like any other normal couple, but they never fought in public, according to Pia. They settle their feud privately. This is contrary to reports that they had a verbal argument outside Pia’s Pasig condominium, where some residents spotted them.
