Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao was named one of the world’s best fighters by a boxing website.

Pacman was on number 8 in the list of the best professional boxers in the world.

“This crowd pleasing warrior is rarely in a boring fight, and has knocked out Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera, both future hall of Famers,” said the article written by Eastside Boxing's Ted Sares.

The writer added that if Pacquiao continues his winning ways, he could be inducted to the Boxing’s Hall of Fame.

Pacquiao is set to fight Marco Antonio Barrera in a rematch on October 6 in Las Vegas.
