Ogie stands up for Regine

Singer-composer Ogie Alcasid defended girlfriend Regine Velasquez against the people who were calling her “home-wrecker” and “husband-grabber.”

Ogie stressed that Regine didn’t ruin his family and she was not the cause of his separation with wife Michelle Van Eimeren.

"There were so many other things that I can’t discuss publicly,” Ogie said, referring to his separation with Michelle. “Nagkataon lang na nang pumasok si Regine sa eksena, my marriage was already shaky.”

Ogie stressed that it’s unfair for people to judge Regine because she didn’t do anything to destroy his marriage.

The singer also disclosed that Regine and Michelle are good friends. He added that Regine even spent two Christmases with Ogie, Michelle and their daughters in Australia.

Ogie also revealed that he and Michelle are working on the annulment of their marriage.
