Which is just right, considering Angel’s current stature as a star. In fact, many are wondering why

Angel was paid way too low for her stature. But anyway, if she’s really signing up with ABS-CBN and will be paid triple what she was getting at GMA 7, good for her.

Jomari Yllana "no comment" on Pops-Martin issue

Jomari Yllana refused to say anything about the recent Pops Fernandez-Martin Nievera word war, which worked for them actually because with nobody saying anything these days, the issue seemed to have died down.

"No comment," was all the actor could muster when confronted by the press to talk about the issue. Instead he said that Pops and himself are in the best state of relationship at this point. "She’s more dignified than ever and we’re happy," he stated.

But when it came to shedding light on talks that he and Pops are about to get married, Jomari said, "A development like that would merit an announcement."

Once more, Jomari also wished to clarify the issue that Pops had been jealous of his ex-girlfriend Ara Mina. "No that’s not true. At matagal na yang issue na yan. It’s a non-issue anymore. All I can say is that Pops knows about that time when Ara and I had to work together during the elections. Alam ni Pops lahat ‘yon."

Kissing scene between Manny Pacquiao, Ara took 9 takes!

The kissing scene between the People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao and sexy actress Ara Mina for their movie "Anak ng Kumander" took nine takes! It was Ara herself who said so.

So, was their kissing scene the reason why Manny and his wife Jinky had an LQ (lovers’ quarrel) because the latter got jealous? Manny was reluctant to answer.

"Anak ng Kumander" is The Pakman’s initial venture as movie producer. It is an official entry to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival Philippines. Manny is finishing the movie before he leaves for the US to train for his October fight with Barrerra.

Billy Crawford denies courting Rufa Mae but says she’s sweet

There’s this rumor saying Billy Crawford, the former "That’s Entertainment" talent who made it big in Europe and the US, is now Rufa Mae Quinto’s new boyfriend. But Billy has denied the rumor saying he came here to work and not for romance. He doesn’t live here and he doesn’t believe that a long-distance love affair would work for him. Billy said though that he find Rufa Mae to be very appealing and sweet.

Billy currently hosts "Move," GMA 7’s first ever reality-dance show.

Going back to Rufa Mae, she said there’s no chance she and former boyfriend Erik Santos could reconcile
