Josh Hartnett and Byung-hun Lee will come to Davao City

Josh Hartnett, uber heartthrob star of Black Hawk Down and Pearl Harbor is coming to Davao to shoot a film. He is also the ex of Scarlett Johannson.

Couple this with the arrival of his co-star in the said movie, Byung-hun Lee a Korean superstar and the ex of Song He-Kyo from Full House. Byung-hun Lee can speak English, French and Mandarin in adition to his native Korean mind you.

Film producers of the said film recently went to Mt. Diwalwal to scout the place in preparation for the actual filming.

Josh Harnett will play the role of a Los Angeles cop-turned-detective. This private eye comes to the Far East in search of a Chinese billionaire's son, but he's preoccupied with the memory of a past encounter with a serial killer—the reason he decided to quit the police force.

The producers were reportedly happy with the location [Mt. Diwalwal] and even promised to come back to film three to four more movies. One of the proposed movies is said to be about Diwalwal, which would chronicle the location's colorful history.

Vietnamese director Trin Anh Hung (The Vertical Ray of the Sun, The Scent of Green Papaya, and Cyclo) will direct the movie.
