Jennylyn: Angel and I don't share same issues

Having the same manager doesn't mean having the same problems.

"Pareho kami ng manager, pero hindi ibig sabihin na pareho kami ng problema so kailangan

pag lumipat ‘yung isa [lilipat din ako]. Wala talaga akong idea and ayokong mag-comment," said Jennylyn Mercado to Lhar Santiago when she was cornered for an interview for GMA 7's news program, 24 Oras.

The young actress was referring to Angel Locsin's reported transfer to ABS-CBN after her exclusive contract with GMA 7 expired last March 31. Angel and Jennylyn incidentally share the same manager, Becky Aguila.

Many insiders fear that Jennylyn's career and relationship with GMA-7 might be in peril because of the controversy involving Angel and their manager.

"Huwag naman sanang pati ako maapektuhan dahil [it's a] case-to-case basis. Iba ‘yung situation niya and iba din ‘yung situation ko. And happy ako dahil hanggang ngayon inaalagan pa din ako ng GMA and nandiyan pa din sila for me," explained Jennylyn.

As for her lovelife, Jennylyn once again assured the public that everything's fine between her and boyfriend Patrick Garcia. There were reports that Jennylyn might be reunited with former flame, Mark Herras, in a movie prompting some to wonder how Patrick would take it if ever plans push through.

"Si Pat naman very understanding and very open-minded pagdating sa mga ganyan dahil ang tagal na niya din sa showbusiness," Jennylyn quickly reasoned out.
