Eda Nolan denies 'nip slip' incident in 'Wowowee'

In an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) Wednesday at the presscon of That's My Doc, young star Eda Nolan denied that she had a "nip slip" incident during her dance number in Wowowee.

"Hindi naman po talaga ako nakitaan. Kasi napanood ko rin, e. Wala naman po

talagang nakita. ‘Yong bra ko doon skin tone. Akala nila ‘yong boobs ko ‘yong lumabas. Iyong bra ko talaga ‘yon... Pinatahi ko po [‘yong tube na] may string. Confident po ako nung sumayaw ako. Kaya nung nalaglag siya, hindi ko po alam na nalalaglag na pala," explained the 18-year-old actress.

She stressed, "Aksidente po 'yon, e. Wala naman pong gustong mangyari ‘yon."

The wardrobe malfunction caused trouble for the noontime show. The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) sanctioned the show with a three-day suspension. The show's management has an ongoing appeal to revoke MTRCB's decision.

Last week, Eda faced the board in a scheduled hearing. She explained her side of the story.

"Prineview rin kasi namin ‘yong tape [ng episode]. Sinabi ko din [sa hearing] na sana hindi nila ginawang big deal ‘yon. Wala naman kasi. Ako mismo magrereklamo ako talaga kung mayroon, e," she commented.

Eda admitted that she was devastated after the incident. She said that her family was alarmed because of the controversy.

"Noong nalaman ko, parang, ‘Nakitaan ako? Wala naman akong ipapakita!' Ano naman sila [family], supportive. Nag-aalala sila nung first. Baka daw iyak lang ako nang iyak, pero naging okay na naman," she said.

The supposed "nip slip" screen-grab is already circulating the Internet. The That's My Doc cast member said she already knew about the pictures.

"Sobrang na-ano po talaga ako. Sabi ko imposible kasi wala naman talagang nakita. Prineview ko pa ng paulit-ulit. Siyempre nakakahiya sa part ko na if ever mayroon... Alam ko wala naman talaga," she reiterated.
