“He’s a very nice person,” Toni says of Direk Paul. “Very consistent. More than anything else, we interact with the same people. We are both Christian, too.”

But it’s not true na na-meet na niya ang parents ni Direk Paul, although na-meet na ni Direk Paul ang parents niya.

Ang mga magulang ni Toni have high regard for the young director.

“Sobra kasing busy kami pareho,” she explained kung bakit hindi pa niya nami-meet ang mga magulang ni Paul. “They live in Alabang kasi.”

But they have been going out on dates na. Lalo na ngayon at tapos na nga ang Pinoy Big Brother Season 2, kaya marami siyang time to herself.

“Madalas, nagmu-malling kami,” kuwento ni Toni. “Either sa Shangri-La EDSA or sa Rockwell.

“Minsan nga,” she added. “Nasalubong pa namin si Maja sa Shangri-La.”

“Sino naman ang kasama ni Maja?” tanong namin.

“Marami sila. Naghahanap yata ng makakainan,” tugon ni Toni.

IN her album Falling in Love, may awiting Perfect World, na siyang theme song ng computer game na Perfect World ng Level Up, maker of the popular online game, Ragnarok.

Here’s what’s most fascinating about the said computer game. One of the characters ay patterned after Toni’s appearance.

According to Star Records, producer and distributor of Toni’s new album, her second, Falling in Love, it is selling like the proverbial hotcakes.

In fact, the song Catch Me I’m Fallin’ is already No. 1 sa DWRR 101.9 at MOR (16 provincial stations).

Catch Me I’m Fallin’ is the theme song of the Koreanovela, Which Star Are You From?

The other cut, I’ve Fallen for You, will be the theme song of the movie of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, which will be released this August.

Meanwhile, the song Toni is most proud of in the album is You’re My Right Kind of Wrong, which happens to be her own composition.

We asked Toni nga pala if she thinks ang desisyon ni Angel Locsin (if true) to sign up with ABS-CBN will do the latter good.

Ang kanyang sagot: “I think kung totoo ’yan, she will be an even bigger star dito.”

In her case raw, when she was pirated from GMA- 7, she thought it was just for Wazzup Wazzup (on Studio 23).

She must have done very well para masabing siya na ngayon ang isa sa mga importanteng contract star ng ABS-CBN.

How about ’yung napababalitang romance between Mariel Rodriguez and Luis Manzano, is it true?

“Wala pang sinasabi sa akin si Mariel, so I’d rather not make any comment,” sagot ni Toni.

Mariel is Toni’s PBB co-host. Minsan ding na-link si Toni kay Luis.
