Sarah turns the tables on movie press

AT the presscon for her upcoming concert, "Sarah Geronimo in Motion," Sarah Geronimo was asked if young actor Jake Cuenca ever made a pass at her. Jake, when he joined ABS-CBN last year after his stint with GMA 7, was vocal about his admiration for Sarah and his wish to become closer to her.

But, of course, Jake is now singing beautiful music with Roxanne Guinoo.

In any case, Sarah answered "no."

Still boyfriend-less at 18, Sarah was again asked if one of her birthday wishes on July 25 is to have a boyfriend.

Instead of answering, Sarah countered: "Bakit ho ba minamadali naman ninyo akong magka-boyfriend? I’m not in a hurry to fall in love. Gusto kong mag-concentrate sa aking career. And I’d like to continue with my studies, too."

Sarah, like Rachelle Ann Go and Aldred Gatchalian, passed the exams for UP Open University. She will enroll in music, according to her.

When somebody close to Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez and Bianca Gonzales was asked what the three have in common, aside from their being regular hosts of the reality program on ABS-CBN, she answered laughing: "All three are loveless. And don’t ask me why."

All three, at one time or another, were also linked to Zanjoe Marudo. Lucky, Zanjoe.
