Pinoy Film Sigaw Will Be Adopted By Hollywood
Whoa, Sigaw a 2004 Filipino original thriller will be released in Hollywood as a remake entitled "The Echo". It still will be directed by Yam Laranas, who also wrote the original Pinoy movie.
So far, Jesse Bradford has signed on to play the lead role that used to be Richard Gutierrez's character. The rest of the cast of the American remake are still unknown.
Bradford starred in the well-reviewed films King of the Hill (1993) and Far From Home (1995). Subsequently, he has had several notable roles in motion pictures, including Romeo + Juliet (1996) and the cult hit Bring It On (2000), playing the romantic interest. In 2002, he appeared as the lead in two major films — Clockstoppers and Swimfan. He has also had a minor role as White House intern Ryan Pierce for nine episodes during the fifth season of television's The West Wing.
This is so cool, Pinoys rock!
