Is Cristy Fermin The Reason Why Kris Opts To Stay Out Of The Buzz?

Excerpts from Ricky Lo's column, FUNFARE (Saturday, June 9, 2007):
Now it can be told: Kris was supposed to resume co-hosting The Buzz anytime this month but, according to Funfare’s Bohol Avenue DPA, Kris doesn’t want to work with Cristy again after the Hope(-less?) incident which nearly cost Kris and husband James Yap their baby (born premature on April 19 and is now in good health and ready to shoot his debut commercial with Mama Kris).
So, you ask: What’s the connection between Kris, Cristy and Hope?
“Well,” added the DPA, “Kris was hurt by what Cristy had been writing about the Hope-James controversy; she felt that Cristy wrote stories told to her by Kris in confidence. Kris was quoted as saying, ‘I don’t think I can work with (Cristy) because of the pain she had inflicted on me.’ Talagang ayaw na ni Kris bumalik sa Buzz.”

And now it seems Boy Abunda has already confirmed in one talk show the row between two of his closest friends. Excerpt from another column:
Si Boy ay nahuli sa gitna ng away ng da­lawa subalit positibo ang pananaw niya na magkakabati rin ang dalawa sa tamang panahon.

“Malalim ang friend­ship nila. Hindi yun basta-basta ma­itu­tumba ng ganun la­mang pero, hindi pa sa ngayon. Sana lang, maging mas madali at maaga ang pagbabati nila,” sabi niya.

Samantala, sinabi niya na matatapos na ang Homeboy, papa­litan ito ng isang ba­gong palabas na kung saan ay magkaka­sama silang muli ni Kris.

“Wala pang definite na format dahil di pa kami nag-uusap-usap. Mga first week of July magi-start ang Boy & Kris na si Kris mismo ang nag-suggest ng title at ng billing. Twice a week, live kami, yung iba taping na,” ani Boy pa who also ad­mitted na bagaman at hindi siya ang tuma­tayong manager ni Kris ay nagagawa niyang ma­kipag-ne­gotiate para rito, lalo na sa mga commer­cials.

On a positive note, Edu Manzano officially replaces Kris Aquino as the host of Pilipinas, Game Ka Na Ba? He is originally tapped to cover for Kris while she recovers from her difficult labor for Baby James. Surprisingly enough, Edu was a riot to watch and the audience seems to have loved Edu as well. Now he stays for good at PGKNB? while Kris merges with another powerhouse Kuya Boy and rumor has it she'll have to star in another show (new one?) as well since her contract with the Kapamilya network stipulates that she has to have three consecutive shows in a year.
