The legendary Rounin warriors.

What can I say about Rounin? The attention to details in this TV series is breathtaking; the synergy of the actors, their costumes, environment, and cinematography is incredible. I’m quite a jaded viewer and after seeing countless fantaserye trailers that has a lot of oomph but gives a disappointing experience, I’ve sworn off any Pinoy produced TV shows that had something to do with fantasy. Of course I had a rude paradigm shift after just viewing Rounin in less than thirty minutes. Yep, that’s how good this show is. Sorry Lupin fans, I’m definitely sticking to Rounin.

The special effects are too good.

Rayver, Luis, Angelica and Diether are incredible; they play their parts so well I couldn’t imagine them not being in Lumeria.

Rounin is the story of an elite group of warriors who live in a place called Lumeria.

The Rounin are tasked to protect the city and its inhabitants against the threats of Helion, the City of Death. Each Rounin specializes in a martial arts discipline, and is commanded by the master Rounin, the leader of Lumeria.

While battling their enemies, the Rounin strive to adhere to their tenets - one being they cannot fall in love with each other.

The show centers around the quest of a young Rounin warrior, Mythos, as he tries to piece together his past to unlock his true identity.

Rayver Cruz, his performance surprised me.

You have to see it to believe me, the fight scenes are out of this world. Every time I watch Rounin, it’s as if I’m seeing a Hollywood produced film. And it’s awesome that it took them a full one and a half year before they’ve premiered the show. Of course it doesn’t hurt that Erick Matti is the one directing it.

In my opinion Rounin is inspired by the bunch of Fantaseryes/Telefantasyas of GMA namely, Encantadia, Etheria, Atlantika. I'm sorry but I'm really sick of watching fantaseryes anymore (Or I let's just say I'm so used of it so now I don't get the appeal of it anymore). However, I think Encantadia is still the best ever. Well, in my honest opinion alongside with Rounin. They also did a great job on effects, characters yet I'm so much used of it especially on encantadia days. They also brought a fantasy world which is amazing, too. But I'll try to watch it if it has a great storyline. ^_^
