Lupin Episode Summary

EPISODE TWO

Unnamed Catholic Church:

Lupin screams for Angeli and rushes to her side. Ashley shoots at the men who attacked Lupin’s wedding while Brigette used her knives. Brigette successfully knifes down the fake priest who tried to run away.

Abandoned Building:

Ka Duroy practices with his new weapon he purchased earlier.

Unnamed Catholic Church:

Angeli cries to Lupin muttering something about their baby, Lupin calms her down and promises to bring her to the hospital. Ashley and Brigette managed to fight off the men killing most of them and the survivors back out including their boss.

Lupin carries Angeli who has a gunshot wound in her stomach area and they board the Benz driven by Ashley while Mika (Angeli’s best friend) tags along. Brigette is left trying to tail the men who ran away. Mika asks Ashley why on earth someone with a gun would shoot at them in the midst of the wedding ceremony. Ashley rudely tells her to shut up since this is not the time to asks questions when Angeli is in such critical condition. Mika keeps quiet.

Inside the car Lupin coaxes his lover not to lose consciousness, Angeli weakly asks him if he stills remember the first time they met. Lupin recalls how he first saw her and how he managed to make her his girlfriend. It was raining when Angeli consented to be his girlfriend. Angeli points outside the car and tells Lupin it’s raining now too. She then faints and Lupins screams her name in desperation.

Ka Duroy’s House and others’ H.Q.
Brigette arrives informing Ka Duroy of the disaster. She tells him Angeli is shot, alarmed Ka Duroy asks what happened to Lupin and she tells him he’s unharmed.

Inspector Clavio Angeles arrives at the church now filled with the Soco (CSI) team and cops. He bickers with the police named Castro who tried to interfere with his investigation. The latter informs him that although the scene of the crime is not on their area of responsibility, he’s still concerned because the car used by the perpetrators was stolen in their division’s town.

Hospital:

Lupin begs the doctor to do their best in saving Angeli. The doctor tells him Angeli’s unborn baby has to be aborted or else it will further endanger his fiancé. Lupin becomes furious asking the doctor if he wants his permission to kill his own unborn child. Lupin remembers when he and Angeli are eating in a restaurant, his girlfriend insists on giving her untouched meal to the little girl outside. Lupin protests, telling her the food is expensive and he wants her to eat what he bought for her. Angeli smiles and promises to tell him the result of the test she got from her OB-Gyn if she’s pregnant or not. Excited Lupin clumsily gathers the food in the table and rushes out the street child. The girl thanks Lupin and tells him his girlfriend always gave her food whenever she comes to that restaurant. Further, she thinks Angeli is really beautiful. Touched, Lupin gives her some paper bills and the child thanks him profusely.

Lupin tells the doctor to do what has to be done to save Angeli. Lupin blames himself fro what happened to Angeli and Ashley tried to console him.

Angeli’s Residence:

Angeli’s mom gets a call from Mika telling her that her daughter is in the hospital. The mom of Angeli is shocked.

Unnamed Catholic Church:

A choir boy talks to Inspector Angeles relating the extraordinary skills of two women who fought off the men with guns. He also learns the groom is unhurt while the bride was shot. Angeles asks the cop where the nearest hospital is, and he’s told of one only fifteen minutes away. He tells the cop to go escort him there, after some thought he asks where the nearest restroom is. He then asks the policeman to escort him there too as he sprints towards the direction pointed by the cop.

Hospital:

Angeli is now in her room unconscious and hooked up to different machines and supported by an oxygen mask. Lupin cries and begs her for forgiveness, and tells her not to ever leave him because he can’t live without her.

Ashley is talking to the doctor as they observe Angeli from the adjacent window. The doctor points to the machines monitoring Angeli’s state. He tells her the patient seems to be stable all of a sudden, and Ashley asks if it’s because Lupin is beside her. The doctor answer there is a big possibility that Lupin’s presence is helping Angeli.

Angeli’s mom arrives in the hospital lobby and Mika relates everything that happened in the church. Meanwhile Bridgette arrives carrying a bag of clothes for Lupin. Ashley tells her she’s puzzled how Maskarado (the syndicate boss) came to know about the wedding when only a handful knew about it.

Abandoned Building:

Maskarado meets with Ka Duroy. Maskarado tells Lupin’s dad he did his part of the deal by shooting down Angeli while sparing Lupin, Ashley and Brigette. Ka Duroy gives them a metal briefcase and Maskarado asks if it’s the one that Lupin took from him. Ka Duroy answers of course, one of Maskarado’s men open it to check. Ka Duroy retrieves a machine gun and fires at them. They all die and Ka Duroy laughs. He says no one can ever outsmart him.

Hospital:

Angeli’s mom arrives and sees her daughter unconscious. She becomes hysterical and tells Lupin it’s his entire fault. Lupin goes out of the room and sits on the lobby floor with a devastated countenance. He begins to cry…
